Path to Homeownership
P.R.I.D.E. (Program to Reinvest in Individual Development and Enterprise) provides homeownership opportunities for low-income families.
The Parkersburg Housing Authority offers a two-year lease-to-purchase program on selected housing throughout Wood County, West Virginia.
Families attend homeownership counseling classes and become part of the homebuyers club.
TO BE ELIGIBLE:
Families must have at least three (3) persons in the household;
Applicants must have an acceptable credit history or one that can be improved over the two-year period of program participation;
Applicants should have a good rental history.
Required gross annual income will vary based upon family size and income guidelines set by HUD.
