Public Housing
Parkersburg Housing Authority's Public Housing Department consists of a 148-unit complex known as Homecrest Manor.
Our public housing units range in size from 1-bedroom to 5-bedrooms and are located on the south side of the city of Parkersburg.
16, 1-Bedroom units, 76, 2-Bedroom units, 36, 3-Bedroom units, 18, 4-Bedroom units, and 2, 5-Bedroom units make up this community.
Within the development you will find a playground, basketball court, and a baseball field. We also offer a Daycare Center and a variety of other activities. Our community also offers handicapped accessible units in each of our bedroom sizes.
Public transportation is available. The Mid Ohio Valley Transit Authority's bus system makes frequent daily stops at the bus stop located at the edge of the Homecrest Manor Apartments. With this available, residents who do not own a vehicle can still enjoy the convenience of all the local merchants. Banks, restaurants, department stores, pharmacies, parks, and churches are all accessible via public transportation.
To be eligible for our program you must be at least 18 years of age. The household income cannot exceed the Department of Housing & Urban Development's income limits for low or very low income families. {View income limits}
